Video: Growth Mindset – The power of believing that you can improve

Psychologist Carol Dweck is a pioneering researcher in the field of motivation, why people succeed or don’t and how to foster success.

Dweck, the author of Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, researches “growth mindset” — the idea that we can grow our brain’s capacity to learn and to solve problems. In this TED talk, she describes two ways to think about a problem that’s slightly too hard for you to solve. Are you not smart enough to solve it … or have you just not solved it yet? A great introduction to this influential field.

This is a TED Talk from November 2014. But it is a great thing to view as you make plans for future and dream about what you plan to achieve in 2016 and beyond.

I am also posting this because the hashtag #growthmindset is one of the most popular in my Twitter-world experience.
